My Tax Refund is Getting Deposited This Week

Yay. I am getting my tax refund this Thursday according to IRS.gov's "Where is my tax return?" That will give me $1,900 extra to put on my outstanding $5,700 of debt! That means this month, I will pay off $2,557+1,900= $4,457! That leaves me with around $1,200 of debt left. Wow, this will be awesome.

I have a final exam next week for governmental accounting, which covers a ton of material. Each problem takes a couple hours to complete, so I'll have to be very smart about how I spend my weekend to study. I'll just have to pick the most interesting points from each chapter, pick one problem that hits home the most "points" of the chapter and remember what to do for them. Then I'll pick either a previous homework assignment or one of the lecture note sample problems to work through. Maybe do one for each chapter. All I know is, the governmental accounting cash flow statements using the direct method will suck because there's about 5 problems in the course pack and instead of one huge problem, they put in a "golden nugget" of something interesting in each problem...so maybe I'll make up my own problem where I combine only the most important points/tricky areas in the problems and lump them all into one so that I don't have to waste my time doing 5 different problems that will take an hour each. I'm just thinking there's no way I could work through all the problems for each chapter and not run out of time so I really am going to choose how I study/what to study.

So far I have had 1 point off at the most on my 10 quizzes and 10 homework assignments, so I have a near perfect streak on those, but they never ever seem to do anything to my grades anyway. They only seem to hurt you if you don't do well on them, but never help boost your grade!
