I went to my friend's bridal show! I actually wanted to go see the lighting so that I know what equipment I need to bring for the big day. We were surprised when we went in because they said they no longer let friends try the food! One bridezilla in the line said, "I am so frustrated right now that you didn't even warn us that only one friend can go in and try the food with the bride! You are making me look bad! This is ridiculous!" Go girl! I could never do that, but I'll try working on it!!
I completely overexposed the shot above. Maybe I should have manually picked a better spot to meter my white balance. Oh well, I just wanted to snap a few quick ones just to see if I need to buy anything extra or if I could go with what I already have. These were all taken without my flash, so it seems like it would be fine. I didn't want to go there and bust out my flash while all these people are admiring the place settings. Some of the place settings were very calm and others were very lively:

Overall, it was not that fun (maybe because of the economy?), and not a lot of vendors came this year. Place setting examples are great...although why would you ever pay $2,000 for one center piece?!
